My name is Bubba Moreau and I have been serving the great state of Louisiana for the past 40 years. I am proud to be a second generation auctioneer. I have always had a passion for the auction profession since I was just a young boy watching my father on the auction block every Saturday night at our auction barn near Alexandria, La.
My knowledge began when my father imported antique containers from Europe, conducting local estate auctions for many years. As time went on my auctioneering skills were instilled. Paul Moreau & Son added car auctions, business liquidations, and during the 1980 S & L crash, we auctioned thousands of repossessed mobile homes for Citi Corp bank in Louisiana and Mississippi.
After my father’s passing, I established Moreau Auction Co. LLC to continue the profession. I imported antique containers from England, have had the privilege to auction warehouses full of government surplus after the closing of our great England Air Force Base, sold off equipment for International Paper Co. as well as being the first auctioneer to liquidate store fixtures for Lowes and Wal-Mart in my home town. I was honored to be appointed by Gov. Mike Foster to the Louisiana Auctioneers Licenseing Board in 2000.
